Scala Junior Software Engineer (Krakow)

We are looking for an engineer with good Scala or Java experience and general computer
science background to join our bright engineering team based in Krakow (Lesser Poland District).

● Contributing to Company Bidding product codebase
● Product features implementation
● Unit tests development
● Business analysis of requirements and conversion of those into technical tasks
● Taking active part in Backlog estimation sessions
● Reporting to TL

Qualifications & Experience
● Good algorithmic background
● Functional programming knowledge, ideally – Scala or Erlang
● Good understanding of at least one modern OO languages Java, C++, C#
● Interest in big data, large datasets processing, high QPS solutions
● Knowledge of NoSQL databases
● Unix knowledge
● Ability to work with fuzzy requirements
● Fluent English

Good to have
● Design patterns
● Interest in Hadoop based data solutions
● Knowledge of modern online advertising technology
● Experience with agile methodologies
